HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

This year, year of ox, would not be an easy year.

Allow me to wish everyone a safe and blessed year ahead.

Road maybe tough but we must hold on to the belief that life is a cycle; what goes around comes around. After tough times would come better times.

This year CNY hasn't been significance.
I didn't manage to get the mooooood.

No spring cleaning (yay!) this year for me.
Contributed only monetary terms for my family compared to previous years when I will attempt to get ba kwa / kuehs / decorations.

I refused to believe as you grow older, occassions / festivals meant lesser.
It is only that I didn't have the time to get prepared - coming back from Vietnam, settling back at work, fretting about work / money etc.

Thus this year CNY hasn't been as look forward to or been as significant as it were previous years.

Next year would be better. I will make an effort to. =)

In any case, I am planning to brave the CNY in Chinatown with N!

So yes I hope that would be some CNY mood in me. =D
